I am passionate about working with clients who have the desire to change but find themselves stuck in their "symptoms." Many of my clients get stuck in their head, and can't find the pathway to their heart/feelings. Others are so overwhelmed by their feelings that they can't experience peace. I find that using coping tools can help, but that Healing can take a different road than symptom management. As your therapist I will bring in my experience working with families and individuals who have struggled with anger, Depression, Anxiety, substance abuse, family conflicts, and/or traumatic experiences. If you are looking for answers and insight into your situation or family concerns I'd be honored to work with you toward healing, strength and growth.
I do not believe there is a one size fits all approach to therapy. I think that sometimes we need more than coping skills or a workbook; we need healing, clarity and strength for the difficult times and areas in our lives. In session we'll walk through what brought you here, what your goals are, and then with different therapeutic techniques, find solutions.
