I believe people were never meant to do life on their own. Having a safe place were you can be heard, garner support and have the guidance you need while processing your feelings and emotions is so very important. As you tackle these tough times, I hope to be a small part in helping you navigate and understand your journey. Helping others has been a passion of mine for many years and I would be honored to be that helping hand or support you need.
My therapeutic approach in working with clients is grounded in a Person-Centered framework. The three main points to this approach include genuineness, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. I believe all of these qualities are essential in building a therapeutic relationship, and they are qualities that I strive to obtain with all of my clients.
Robin Joiner is working towards licensure as a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC). Robin is working under the supervision of Dr. Susan Belangee, LPC, NCC, ACS and the direction of Kristen Fraser, LPC, NCC. Please note, because Robin is not fully licensed she is not eligible to submit for insurance reimbursement.
