My working history has made me passionate about helping clients where they are in life, with a special interest in early development. I encourage the exploration and processing of initial presenting concerns, work towards meeting desired goals, while also supporting growth in all aspects of life that may arise over the course of our therapeutic time together. I recognize that the time spent with me is only an hour of someone's regular day-to-day life, and hope to provide skills that remain applicable - long after any therapeutic time with together.
I consider myself aware of, but never claim full competency or expertise in, various social, cultural, neurological, and other differences in people; however, to aid in these and more, beyond the certifications below, I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Ultimately, I keep a lens of people as - people - and work with them based on their wants, and we go from there - in whatever aspect or direction that may be. I give heavy consideration to the fact that life, and our own self-awareness, is constantly changing, so I am prepared to pivot in whatever direction you choose as the right one for you.
