Being human is complex and brings a plethora of emotions your way. There are highs, lows, twists, and turns. It is through acceptance that a person can begin healing, coping, and growing into their best self. I have experience working with PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, etc., allowing me to help others learn new ways of addressing unwanted emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
My approach is eclectic in order to meet the individual needs of clients. I am intensively trained in dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy, and trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy. Other therapy approaches include person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy.
