Welcome, I'm proud of you for taking this step in caring for yourself. I work primarily with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma-related difficulties, ADHD, life transitions, identity concerns, and the unique complexities of LGBTQIA2S+ identities. My approach to therapy is client-centered and trauma aware while also pulling from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential, and Intersectional Feminist philosophies. I invite people of all identities to engage in treatment and welcome conversations about how identity and culture influence our counseling work together.
My goal is that my office can be an empathetic and non-judgemental space where you can focus on yourself for a bit. I aim to make therapy a collaborative process in which you are an active participant in goal setting and treatment planning. I strike a balance between validating your emotions and challenging ways of thinking that may be impeding your growth.
If you feel like I may be the right therapist for you, I invite you to reach out for a free, no-commitment consultation to see if this feels like a good fit. We can explore your needs and goals for therapy and I am happy to answer any additional questions you may have about me or my work that would help inform your decision!
