Life is more enjoyable when we are feeling whole, healthy and connected to the important people around us. But sometimes our reality is disconnection, frustration, stress, and hopelessness. How can this be happening to me? Especially now! Most of us assume the journey to parenthood will be smooth and easy, rarely is that the reality. I support individuals and couples from the early stages of trying to conceive through the stress of launching adults and all the stages in the middle. My role is to be a coach as you try new strategies, process difficult feelings and work through challenges. You do not have to do this alone.
I work primarily from evidence based approaches so that you can grow and feel more like yourself again. I have clinical training and 9 years experience working with children, adults and families in different settings. I also have specialized training in reproductive issues including transitions to parenthood, anxiety, grief, infertility and depression.
My work with individuals can be characterized as: authentic, non-judgmental, available, compassionate, curious, humorous, empathic, encouraging, mentoring, practical, and integrated with your health care providers. I offer a 20 minute phone consultation to assess if we will work well together.
