As a Licensed marriage and family therapist I consider it an honor to journey with my clients as they establish goals, discover healing in a safe environment and gain greater control of their life. My core passion is providing discovery towards wholeness for people who have experienced trauma/stressor keeping them from living their best life. I have 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I am a Certified Trauma and Crisis Specialist, EMDR Practitioner and holds expertise in treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Extensive training in various modalities provides me with the ability to utilize the right therapeutic approach for individuals and families. The focus of my counseling services is geared towards fostering a culture of safety, empowerment, and healing through trauma-informed care.
My educational background includes a BA in Counseling Psychology and MA in Human Services Marriage & Family Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. i also hold graduate certificates in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Play Therapy, CBT, and Somatic. I serve as a board member, educator and national trainer for NAMI.
