Are you seeking therapy for the first time or have a desire to continue your healing journey? I am here to support you! I am an LPC in the state of VA with a passion for working with adolescents and young adults, specifically with survivors of trauma. I value “meeting a client where they are” with experience including depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood and personality disorders, self-harm, and suicidality. Client’s goals might include building sustainable coping skills, learning more about their diagnoses, how to manage symptoms in their everyday lives, and processing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I prioritize the therapeutic relationship and actively work to create a solid foundation of trust and safety within the therapeutic alliance. I use person-centered therapeutic techniques along with other evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique emotional and behavioral needs of each client (ACT, DBT, CBT, MI, and EMDR techniques).
I obtained my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Washington University. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in residential facilities, inpatient and outpatient programs, substance use treatment, and community-based work.
