I work with adolescents and adults looking to work through anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex stress in their lives. I believe that therapy offers a unique space for depth processing and healing through self-knowledge. Through a collaborative and conversational process, I hold space for my clients to explore their relational patterns and try on new ways of relating to themselves and others. I am particularly attuned to the importance of early attachment as it impacts difficulties later in life. In addition, I specialize in issues around pregnancy and parenting.

I specialize working with the LGBTQIA community and BIPOC with relationship issues, identity issues, anxiety, loss/grief, depression and trauma.
Congratulations on taking the first step toward emotional healing and reclaiming your inner power. There is a misconception that something is wrong with us if we need therapy. But the truth is that humans need other humans; we thrive in community and support. Therapy is a place to find support, to go inward and connect with yourself. My framework of practice is eclectic, using CBT, trauma-focused and culturally sensitive interventions, mindfulness and a systems approach—together we can find a more hopeful future & start living more fully in the present moment as you regain agency in your life.

We often have hopeful expectations for our lives, but find that life unfolded in a way we didn’t expect. Divorce, separation, abuse, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief can make life seem difficult or even unbearable at times. Are you feeling overwhelmed, disappointed or stuck and is this affecting your sense of well-being, relationships or career? My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, respectful environment so that together we can explore new thinking patterns, become aware of how the past can influence current and future behaviors, and empower you to live your most authentic life.
