I am an empathetic person who has a passion for helping clients of various ages that are struggling throughout their daily life. As a therapist, I have experience working with clients of different backgrounds and disorders including anxiety, trauma, depression, as well as behavioral and emotional issues. During sessions, I help clients explore their thought processes and perceptions to discover ways to manage stressful situations and emotions which can feel overwhelming. I work with my clients to focus on their natural strengths in order to accomplish their therapeutic goals.
During sessions, I utilize a person-centered approach while focusing on CBT, art, play, and other creative techniques to help the client process their story. During this process, I aid clients in learning positive coping skills and ways to manage daily stressors. I encourage clients to find their voice to accomplish the change they want in their life.
I provide a non-judgmental space for my clients to express their needs. This promotes and encourages them to process their story, express their needs, and achieve their therapeutic goals at their own pace. Sessions are individualized for each client, creating trust and a therapeutic alliance within a safe environment.
