As a therapist, I aim to help you feel better prepared to address life transitions. To find calm and clarity with the unknown. I hope to help you slow down and focus on achieving positivity and happiness in a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore feelings of confusion and personal concerns. My goal is to help you feel more fulfilled and content with your life. My approach to therapy is integrative, providing services through a holistic lens. I offer a blend CBT, ACT, relational and somatic experiencing.
CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) offers practical tools to combat symptoms of anxiety and depression while mindfulness or ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) tackles letting go and accepting what is not in our control. I am trained in somatic experiencing, which incorporates the mind-body connection to understand and address past traumatic experiences.
In my mind, therapy is not forever. Instead, therapy is a safe space where you can acknowledge and address feelings of psychological distress and develop / practice tools to foster self-reliance. Please reach out to chat, I offer free consultations and am happy to discuss fit and next steps.
