Hello! I am a clinical social worker specializing in self-compassion, empowerment, and trauma informed practices. I have experience working with survivors of domestic and sexual abuse as well as over 5 years of experience working in reproductive healthcare. My areas of treatment include anxiety; life transitions; OCD; Borderline Personality Disorder; pre and post abortion counseling; domestic and sexual violence; harm reduction; gender identity and sexuality; eating disorders; and body dysmorphia.
I use an approach that is person centered, trauma responsive, and focused on self-compassion. I believe that you already have the strengths needed to work through your concerns and when we work together, my hope is you will see the same strength in yourself. We will use techniques from DBT, CBT, and ACT but generally we'll just be talking it out!
