Self esteem and confidence is something that I work on with every client I treat. While I work with adults of all ages, I specialize in treating millennial issues such as failure to launch, relationship issues, moving through past traumas, feeling stuck/uncertain, and planning for the future. In addition, I treat issues related to hopelessness, low confidence, and low motivation. I work with my clients to help them understand themselves as a whole, instead of focusing only on their symptoms.
When working with me, clients have time to process but also will be taught life long skills. This means that I take a traditional "talk it out" stance, but also take time to teach. This allows clients to learn and implement new strategies to manage how they are feeling immediately.
My main goal in becoming a therapist is to make mental health services practical and accessible. I use straight forward and solution focused techniques when working with clients. During my sessions I teach skills a person can implement in their everyday life to promote wellness.
