I enjoy working with couples who are interested in an open / polyamorous relationship. I have found that short-term therapy can be incredibly useful in setting up these types of arrangements when boundaries, trust, and communication are paramount. I also work with couples who are struggling with these issues in closed relationships. It is my goal to help you develop mutual respect, understanding, and empathic communication. The individuals that I work most effectively with are those experiencing a big life transition (new baby, divorce, job, graduation, etc) with challenges coping or have unresolved trauma of their past bubbling up
I'm a licensed art therapist who works with individuals, couples, and adolescents. When working with my clients, I use a combination of art therapy (art making for additional deepening of self insight and improving mood, verbal processing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (concrete behavior-thought connections that are changeable through practice).
