My goal as a counselor is to provide safe and non-judgmental therapy space in two different therapy settings: Turning Point and Caela Rhea Counseling. At Turning Point Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault services, counseling is free for survivors of sexual assault or sexual abuse. Processing trauma is not easy, but I can provide you with the support and tools you need to heal. You must meet Turning Point eligibility requirements for services. Call 205-758-0808 or check out turningpointservices.org for more information. Caela Rhea Counseling is self-pay and open nights and weekends for tele-health sessions.
I started Caela Rhea Counseling with the goal of providing affirmative therapy for individuals in the LGBTQ community. I seek to provide a safe space to help in understanding gender identity or sexual orientation, to process anything that may come up during transition, or to address issues that may arise from unsupportive people in your life.
Accepting new clients. One goal as a therapist I have is to make my clients feel heard and understood. If you are feeling unsure or scared about seeking therapy services, have had a negative experience in the past, or have questions about the counseling process, please contact me. I am available by phone or email to answer questions or schedule a session.
