I integrate expressive arts and evidence-based therapeutic practices. I emphasize change and choice through dance and therapeutic practices, awakening the conscious, exploring the past to bridge client’s experiences to their present self. I aim to help clients reconnect to their authentic self by finding compassion, self-acceptance, and a sense of freedom and inner strength. This connection reintegrates the physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual aspects into the client’s new narrative.
I am certified in DBT and Dancing Mindfulness. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I also use Trauma-Informed Expressive Arts in session. I find these techniques can help individuals with emotion dysregulation, distress tolerance, relationships, building sense of self, and changing ineffective patterns.
If you walk, I walk with you. If you are running, I'll run with you. If you stand still, I will stand with you. I encourage folks to give oneself permission to be vulnerable. We can work together to identify your needs and challenge ineffective patterns that no longer serve you well. I use a direct, gentle, and respectful challenging approach.
