Feeling stuck? Burned out or always overwhelmed? Not enjoying life the way everyone else seems to? Perhaps the coping strategies and/or relationships you've turned to for support in the past are no longer accessible or just not enough on their own. Most people starting or restarting therapy are looking for a change in some way. I believe that therapy is a place for reconnection, supportive challenge; a place to show up as your full self. We may be a good fit if you are looking for support with depression, trauma/PTSD, anxiety, toxic relationships, and/or LGBTQ2+ identity/gender affirmation.
My style is highly collaborative and tailored to your individual goals. As a counseling psychologist, I take a strengths-based and integrative approach, drawing from person-centered and evidence-based interventions such as CBT and ACT. I see people from all walks of life. I am queer-identified and value supporting my LGBTQ2+ community and their families.
Life is really, really hard sometimes. You don't have to figure it all out alone. I encourage you to take the time to find a therapist who feels like a good fit. I offer free phone consultations prior to our first appointment to talk more about your goals for therapy, my approach, financial considerations, and mutually assess if we might work well together.
