I specialize in depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, neurodiversity, and trauma (e.g., physical/sexual/emotional abuse, abandonment, rape, assault, and accidents), including trauma-related disorders like PTSD, eating disorders, and self-harm. I also specialize in separation/divorce, including divorce mediation, negotiating parenting plans, co-parenting therapy, child therapy, and conjoint therapy in resist/refuse cases. My 20+ years experience as a former attorney informs my work in separation/divorce cases and with clients otherwise involved in the legal system. I also do expert witness work in cases within my specialty areas.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I have been providing psychotherapy for almost thirty years with all ages and all different populations. My treatment modality encompasses an electic style based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Brief/Solution Focused Therapy. An integral part of my work with clients includes establishing a collaborative and therapeutic alliance, identifying goals, and developing solutions. Counseling Center for Sexual Health focuses on the clinical treatment of sexuality-related issues among individuals and couples. Located in Westlake Village, CCSH provides intensive outpatient programs and therapy for sex addiction/sexually problematic behaviors, sexual health concerns and partners impacted by sex addiction in Westlake Village. Jackson Sousa, director of CCSH holds a California Alcohol and Drug Educator certificate and is a certified sexual addiction therapist (CSAT ) and certified sexual addiction therapist supervisor (CSAT-S). Jackson also is an AASECT certified sex therapist (CST), and works with issues such as sexual disorders and dysfunctions, gender identity confusion, and a variety of sexually-related problems.
