From building autonomy through play therapy with your toddler, to identifying and implementing coping skills to combat the inevitable stressors (grief) and stages that we simply can not dodge in life, I level with you and we grow together whether through an individual, pediatric, couple, or family modality.
What would it be like to be understood? No really?! The journey truly starts when we first seek to understand ourselves. Through personalized, identity affirming intervention and an unconditional judge-free zone, I implement healthy relationship building with each one of my clients first. As a result, trust can be established and influences you to be empowered yet vulnerable, ultimately leading to healthy behavior modification and a deeper awareness of how to thrive even through adversity.

Hello and Welcome! I received a Master of Science degree in Psychology but upon graduating, I learned that my true passion was to become a clinician. And so, I returned to school and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (2024). I work with a variety of clients that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families. I think that it is important to build a rapport and then I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment so that we can begin your therapeutic journey. I am a firm believer in setting short- and-long term goals. In addition, I will help you find the time (and the energy) for self-care.

I provide individual, couples, and family therapy.
I support older adults as they navigate life stressors and transitions. You or a loved one may be struggling with family/couple dynamics, work/life balance, retirement, chronic health conditions, leaving your home and community, living with family, assisted living, or death of a loved one. You may be the person receiving or providing care. You may feel overwhelmed with grief or a loss of social connection, purpose, and identity. You may be experiencing increased vulnerability, sadness, or anxiety about the future, and a new awareness of your own mortality.

Whether you’re a family trying to connect, a teen struggling with transitions in life, a young mother trying to find herself again, or find yourself dealing with some other challenging changes, I can help.
Something’s changed. That change can be any number of things - recent baby, newly out of or into middle school/high school, change in family dynamics, or others. But something has changed and it doesn’t feel right. You used to feel like you had it together - like you were writing your own story and happy with where it was going. But lately, it doesn’t feel that way. Lately, it feels like there’s an editor changing things in your story and it’s not working out! You feel lost, maybe depressed, anxious or angry, or maybe you’re not sure what you feel, just that something’s not right.

If your relations with family and friends are difficult or ruptured, here is a safe place to work it all out.
Couples therapy is my special focus and therapy with a coach approach is my style. Couples often come to therapy saying they can't communicate, but lack of communication is only the symptom of a deeper conflict. As couples brings their needs to a relationship, sometimes those needs conflict in very profound ways. Once they become a burden for the couple, and each starts blaming the other, communication problems crop up. To discover unfulfilled expectations of our own and to understand those of our partners is the work done in couples therapy. That exploration will help rebuild a love that is rooted in reality.

To support this, I pride myself on offering real-life tools to help people overcome barriers and achieve their goals, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) Parts Work, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
In the best of conditions, orienting ourselves towards personal growth is challenging and requires focus, dedication, and support. During major life events, staying on this mindful path can become overwhelming and we may find ourselves unable to find our bearings. For over 12 years, I have helped clients navigate difficult life transitions, such as recovery from addiction, overcoming trauma, healing from grief, cultivating healthy relationships, and achieving developmental milestones.

My work is informed by modalities and frameworks like Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Hakomi, Liberation Psych, and Social Justice/Decolonizing lenses.
I seek to help people from diverse backgrounds who are looking to liberate themselves from subconscious self-limiting beliefs and patterns and desire to experience more vitality and authentic alignment with who they really are. I specialize in supporting people who identify as healers who support others but don't get enough personal support, people-pleasers, perfectionists, and folks who are burdened with the residue of trauma from difficult life experiences who want to build resilience, or need space to deconstruct/reconstruct the affects of living within failed and broken systems.

My therapy style usually works within a person-centered, relational and cognitive-behavioral framework. I am going to ask about you, your goals, your family/relationships, your history, and other important life experiences and events so that we can begin to identify and understand thinking, feeling, and behavioral patterns that may or may not be working for you. Together, we can work to decrease your symptoms, such as anxiety and depression through building a therapeutic relationship, and increasing self-awareness and coping skills, which can help improve your self-esteem, personal relationships, and overall satisfaction with life!

I utilize an integrative approach depending on client needs that includes an attachment-based lense, family systems, and is strength based and solution oriented.
I work with adults, teens, and children experiencing a range of concerns including anxiety, stress, parenting issues, school or work challenges, and life transitions. Clients are often interested in taking a pause, reassessing their current situation, and collaborating to try new approaches, improve coping skills and resilience. My goal is to help clients move forward in their daily lives with greater ease, a sense of purpose and peace, and curiosity to care and connect to themselves and others authentically.
