The techniques I use are tailored to each client's unique needs and challenges. I use a holistic approach that is clinical, psychological, medical, and spiritual. These techniques help me plan, diagnose, and treat individuals as well as couples in relationship counseling. This creates a confidential, non-judgmental atmosphere based on kindness and respect. Only in this environment can you begin to make healthy, confident and mindful decisions so that you can reach your personal and relationship goals. I will walk with you through whatever challenges stand in your way.

What is the impulse that gets you up in the morning? Do you struggle with knowing what it is? Do you feel that you are constantly working towards a goal only to see it move out of your grasp? In my practice I work a great deal with clients who work in the creative professions. I work with clients to uncover their internal dialogues and behaviors. I believe that every person is operating from a desire for love, dignity, and grace, and it can begin with the therapeutic relationship. I also have a business doing mental health consultation for the entertainment industry (Media Psychology Services).

It takes a great deal of courage to embark on an experience of bettering one’s life. I feel honored to be a part of that process. Clients arrive in therapy for a myriad of different reasons, but most of all, seem to have a very clear goal of bettering their lives. I truly enjoy collaborating with Clients to make this happen, and strive to give my Clients tools to use many years into the future. I work with children, adolescents, adults and couples with a variety of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, relationship issues and addiction.

Therapy (which comes from the Greek word "to change"), is a very brave and personal endeavor that an individual and/or family undertakes to gain insight into their emotional state, decisions that have been made or to understand behavior. I have a great deal of experience working with families in crisis, children and adolescents with special education needs, adults and parents that are seeking support to parent a difficult and/or challenging child. In addition, I utilize a very supportive, nurturing yet directive approach in my therapeutic process.

I also enjoy helping victims of abuse/ violence and working with clients to cope with grief/loss and career-related issues.
Are you feeling disconnected? Stressed, anxious, tired, or angry? Are you or your loved ones repeating behaviors, relationships, or situations, and wishing you could break the cycle? Maybe little things feel more frustrating or overwhelming than usual. Sometimes, we aren't sure what causes our distress, but we can sense we're not reaching our potential for health, happiness, or success. And even when we know the cause, change can still feel impossible. That's where I come in. My job is not to judge you--it's to listen, help you understand the root causes of your difficulties, and teach you practical tools to help change your life.

I work with individuals, from adults, adolescents, couples, parents and families that are impacted by substance abuse, depression, anxiety, communication issues, parenting challenges; or with clients impaired with low self-esteem, life stress due to school or career, grief and loss, life transition and LGBT issues and various types of trauma.
A strong therapeutic relationship is founded by offering an environment that is non-judgmental, open, supportive and is collaborative. I work as a team with you, to encourage and help you reduce unwanted thoughts, worries, feelings of hopelessness and to make positive changes in your life. Through the process, you and I will explore the past, current stressors and worries that impact you today. I will work with you to build effective coping skills, build new opportunities and possibilities, while allowing you to grow, change, enlighten and bring balance to your life.
