Choosing a therapist is a difficult process. In the time when you may feel most vulnerable, you are inviting a complete stranger in to discuss very personal information. I believe safety and non-judgment are among the most important aspects of the therapeutic environment. I create a place for clients to ventilate emotions and build coping skills that make daily life more meaningful. Even though it may be difficult to initiate the process of therapy, having someone assist you in making sense of internal confusion can result in insight and clarity that is often very difficult to achieve alone.

Are you ready to change your life for the better? No matter what you are going through, remember: you are not your problem! Life is both complicated and stressful, and we are not born with "how-to" instructions or "live-life-this-way" manuals. We are all in a process of trying to find personal security while feeling our way through life. I invite you to work with me to untangle and understand your life, increase personal security and life satisfaction, and resolve issues and symptoms that are holding you back from becoming the person you really want to be.

Energy follows thought. What are your thoughts? Do you have self-defeating negative mental chatter? Do you have habits, fears, perceptions, beliefs, attitudes, which hinder you from being "all you can be"? As a hypnotherapist I use hypnosis as part of a multidisciplinary approach to help my clients rewrite the stories in their sub-conscious mind. I also employ my 30 plus years as a Shamanic Healer to assist my clients in being all they were created to be. Reiki and Chakra balancing are also employed when appropriate. Powerful assistance comes with Past Life Regression and Soul Retrieval.

Are you struggling with your emotions or relationships? I am here to help you find strength, resiliency, hope and solutions. I feel the goal of therapy is cultivating the self-confidence and compassion that is needed to help cope with all the uncertainties and difficulties in life. Can we be curious instead of judgmental as daily moments occur? The therapeutic alliance between client and therapist strengthens the integration of body, mind, and spirit, leading not only to a focus on personal healing, but on achieving greater well-being, peace, and passion for life.

Making the decision to call or consult a therapist is a difficult one but may be the best gift you can give yourself. It means you have taken an important step in changing your life. As a practicing psychotherapist I have treated adults, families, teens and children since 1981 and love to help people find their true sense of self and improve their functioning at work and in their relationships. Over the years I have helped many adults, children and teens with academic and behavioral issues, family conflicts, depression, anxiety and chronic pain relief.

Let's face it...life happens! We try our best to make the environment around us as comfortable as possible for ourselves, and many times we succeed. Then, there are those times when we just feel stuck and frustrated, perhaps even discouraged. Often, if we stay in those 'stuck' places for too long, we end up feeling depressed, anxious, stressed, angry, insecure, vulnerable, unmotivated, or just plain moody. It almost feels like there's some hidden knowledge that could unlock that 'stuck' feeling and let us get back to, or begin, feeling motivated and confident about the direction of our lives.
