I am a 63-year-old Latino from the Los Angeles Area. As a teenager and young adult and now as an older adult, I encountered many obstacles that I had to figure out by myself. My hope is to support you in overcoming your obstacles. I grew up around hard-working people who had little or no education. I had no examples to follow or mentors to guide me. I understand what it feels like to feel alone even in a crowded room. I can assist you with your obstacles by helping you understand their origins and by learning about the power that you possess to overcome them.

My name is Dr. Tsoline Konialian. I am a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist (CA Lic. PSY19955) with two offices conveniently located in the San Gabriel Valley area of Southern California. Joanna has over 20 years of professional experience as a school psychologist and most currently as a licensed educational psychologist providing in-depth psychological, educational, socio-emotional, and behavioral support to children, adolescents, adults, families, educators, professionals, and para-professionals in both the public and private sectors. Since 2001, she has served as a district psychologist across Los Angeles and Orange County providing detailed, comprehensive assessments & evaluations, trainings, consultation, and counseling for individuals and groups. Joanna is bilingual and converses in English & Mandarin Chinese.

I work with folks in the intersection of being neurodivergent, BIPOC and queer to navigate the oppressive structures that prevent us from expressing ourselves authentically. Together we can process intergenerational trauma to truly meet your needs. My areas of focus include conscious parenting, eating disorders, and postpartum/perinatal mental health. In our therapeutic relationship, genuine, empathetic care and connection come first. I understand that healing is not only individual but also systemic.
