It’s very possible that you’re not lazy or unmotivated but instead dealing with symptoms of undiagnosed ADHD.
It’s 10 pm the night before your work project is due, and the pressure is on. Your boss assigned this four weeks ago, and you kept telling yourself you had more time. Now, there are less than 12 hours to hand it in, and you haven’t even begun. But, rather than finally starting, you look for anything else to do. “The oven could use a deep clean,” you decide to yourself. You watch the clock tick, and your stress builds until you have no choice but to start, but by then, it’s too late to do it right. So you hand in the work late again, rushed and full of errors. You hate letting yourself and others down but don’t know another way.

I work primarily with adults with ADHD and with couples.
I am Zdravko but I mostly go by Z. I was born in former Yugoslavia. At the age of 14, circumstances forced me to leave my homeland. After a few years in Germany, in the late 90's I embarked on a new chapter by moving to the United States. My journey through life and career has been marked by diverse experiences, including roles in mortgage banking, retail, and ride-sharing, as well as being a parent and getting diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, all of which have profoundly influenced my approach as a therapist.

Hello, my name is Ellen Suski, I go by Elly. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I have been working in the mental health field for almost 9 years and providing therapy for about 5 years. I have experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, and ADHD as well as concerns around interpersonal relationships and stress management (related to work, school, family, and friends). My approach to therapy includes allowing the client to guide the direction of each session. I choose this approach as I do not like my clients to feel forced to speak on a topic or area in their life that they aren’t comfortable with yet.

Are you Neurodivergent or wonder if you might be? Do your challenges with focus make getting treatment tricky? You are not alone. Many people I work with have struggled for years to get treatment - or even a diagnosis. I offer Neurodivergent affirming therapy ( ADHD, AuDHD) and group therapy. Are you group curious? If yes, I look forward to connecting with you. I currently offer weekly support groups to adults in California. I also offer climate anxiety support - individual and group. Additionally, I have worked over eighteen years as a professional career counselor and recently as an ADHD specialist, discovering and dissembling the internal blocks and habits that keep us from greater satisfaction.
The people I've been able to help most feel stuck and crave direction in recovering an assured sense of who they are and their potential. We are all creatures of adaptation and many of us learn early on to adjust to whatever the world asks of us. Accordingly, we may internalize the priorities of our parents, our peers, and our culture, agendas that don’t always serve our own interest.

I specialize in Relationship Issues, Marriage Counseling, Women's Issues & ADHD.
Are you rocking that 'got-it-together' facade, but deep down you're really falling apart? You're not alone. Life's throwing punches, and the struggle is real. You're seeking direction and clarity, but you feel stuck, caught in self-doubt, and trapped in "stay or leave" dilemmas. The uncertainty is unsettling and you start questioning everything about your relationship…and yourself. Whether it's your marriage, career, or the sheer weight of everything around you—I get it. It's like having a hundred tabs open in your mind at once, making it hard to think straight and perform as you envision. You're exhausted. It's time for a change.

This might be a specific mental health diagnosis, like ADHD, anxiety, or depression, or it could be a more general life concern like relationship challenges, a health condition, or stress management, all of which can impact our overall wellness.
I provide a safe, empathic, and non-judgmental space to explore any issues that have brought you to therapy. I work with individuals and couples at all developmental stages, partnering with you to navigate the uncertainties of life transitions, relationship difficulties, and barriers that may be keeping you stuck. Most of us want to move in the direction of a meaningful, authentic life that reflects our values, but for various reasons the path becomes obscured. I both challenge and support my clients in their courageous steps toward clarity and fulfillment.

We work together to help you develop a greater sense of self-awareness as well as manage symptoms of anxiety, irritability/anger, depression, panic attacks, racing or worried thoughts, PTSD, ADHD, eating disorders, insomnia, relationship conflict, substance abuse, and self-injurious behavior.

With over 25 years experience as a mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapist, I help you take control of your mind rather than let your mind take control of you. Learning to find the off button in your mind and no longer reacting to every thought and feeling is priceless. Nearly 33,000 people worldwide follow my blog to learn my approach. Visit christinedickson.com to learn more.
