I understand how important it is for my clients to feel supported and be able to address their immediate concerns as quickly and as effectively as possible. I view therapy as a collaborative process where I work with my clients to acquire the appropriate coping skills for their present difficulties while gaining the understanding and insight needed to handle future challenges. By working together, I will help you to build on your strengths and expand your skills to not only cope with the obstacles in life, but to optimize your well-being and to reach for your full potential.

You can’t pinpoint when it happened, but all of a sudden you don’t feel the same. You’re waking up feeling discontent and struggling to get out of bed. Sometimes you find yourself wondering what you’re doing with yourself… You don’t feel fulfilled at all. You think you should feel great - You have the job, the friends, likes and follows from your connections… yet you still feel alone. Your inner voice is telling you something is missing.

I work with all populations, especially men and young adults, using an integrative approach that emphasizes mindfulness and a holistic view of the self.
Deciding to start therapy is a sign of strength. I believe all people have a natural inclination toward growth and wholeness and sometimes things get in the way. Exploring these obstacles with compassion and courage can help you cultivate the most important relationship of your life -- your relationship with yourself. Whether your challenge is depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationships, addictions or career challenges, all you need to get started is the desire to change.

There's no question that psychotherapy is hard work for both the client and the therapist. I specialize in the treatment of the obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders(i.e., OCD, body dysmorphic disorder, trichotillo mania, compulsive skin picking plus others), and know how challenging and frustrating the therapy can be at times. I work with my clients to develop an individualized treatment plan, designed to tackle each person's unique symptoms and needs. While these disorders are generally chronic in nature, the goal of more effectively managing the symptoms so someone can live a productive life is both reasonable and attainable.

Like boys and men have done for millennia, I have also sought counsel from wise men throughout my life.
I am a Counselor and Therapist for Boys & Men: Straight, GBTQ. I help boys of all ages, usually 23-40, become the men that they dream of becoming. I help clients discover how they fit in the world, how to find love and acceptance from Self and others, how to navigate life challenges, and how to find greater meaning and happiness in their lives. I offer airtight confidentiality and zero judgement. I recognize that many boys and men need a REALLY “safe space” to be 100% real, authentic, and not judged for being themselves. If you are serious about getting help, growing, and becoming your happiest Self, please feel free to call me.

Therapy with me will have you leaving my office with tangible ways, for you or you and your loved ones, to facilitate changes in what you want in your life from the very first session. I will challenge you hard but with compassion. I enjoy helping people develop an enthusiasm for the process of self-discovery and healing. I make authentic contact with people help them cultivate a taste for their own Truths while making space to grieve the loss of old ways or relating to people and the world around them. I see starting therapy is a sign of intelligence.

Are you feeling stuck or overwhelmed? Do you get in your own way, with negative thoughts or behaviors? Do you struggle with intimacy and trust? Perhaps you're gripped by emotions you cannot control; or the opposite - feel disconnected, alienated, unable to get close? Others have found healing and transformation through psychotherapy - there is hope!

I work with a diverse clientele and specialize in providing social justice oriented psychotherapy to Black people and other POC, as well as members of LGBTQIA+ communities. I provide culturally responsive therapy, which focuses on the strengths you already have. I tend to use a cognitive-behavioral theoretical approach (CBT), while also paying attention to your environment and access to social support. I work with you to build a safe space where you can share your experiences without the fear of being judged, and where you can focus on becoming clear about what you want, and how you want to go about making that happen.

I regularly suggest homework, enabling you to take an active part in your therapy and make it highly efficient. To understand how I work, go to www.ThreeMinuteTherapy.com. Anxiety doesn’t have to be per manent problem, even if you’ve always thought of yourself as an anxious person. Anxiety is learned and it can be un-learned. I’d like to help you retrain your brain to be a source of comfort and positivity. With less anxiety, you can direct your energy towards things you really value instead of worrying all the time. There is no more valuable project than your well-being, and it’s well worth the effort. I use research-backed therapy and provide my clients with actionable tools, techniques, and skills to help them make progress.

I am a devoted to helping you find relief from anxiety, anger, depression, shame, or whatever it is that leaves you feeling stuck. This relief can come by being in a relationship where all of you is welcomed and valued, even the parts of you that feel broken, extreme, or judged by yourself or others. Together, we'll get to know what's causing you these symptoms, help change your relationship to these symptoms, and work towards healing whatever wound is at the root. In this process you may find that "you" becomes more clear, and experience a greater freedom to show up in the ways you'd like at work, home, and in your relationships.

Therapy can be FUN, Exciting, and Healing (with hopefully some GOOD belly LAUGHS). I get back to everyone within 1-9hours. You're hesitant since it's your first time in therapy. You feel empty, hopeless, isolated, and depressed. You DON'T want a therapist who just sits there and listens. You want interaction. You have family trauma that have left you shackled. I can empathize as I have dealt with those same issues too! I help people dealing with depression and anxiety by exploring other possibilities to cope and giving a safe space to fully express themselves honestly and authentically while gaining a sense of individuality.
