I am also an Educational Therapist working in various schools and clinics. I work with children, adolescents, and parents and all the professionals that orbit their lives. School Anxiety is a particular area of interest. The colleagues I work with support the multi-diciplinary approach to treating the whole child. Professionals I work with have specialties not limited to speech, language, vision, psychiatry, family counseling, parenting, neurodevelopment, teaching, play and more. As an Educational Therapist I offer children and adults with learning disabilities and other learning challenges a wide range of intensive, individualized interventions designed to remediate learning problems.

Evaluations can assist with diagnosing ADHD, Learning Disorders (Dyslexia/Dyscalculia), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders etc). I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in treating children, adolescents, and young adults. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology from UCLA. I also hold a master’s and doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and have over 20 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and a variety of other presenting issues. For the past several years, I have served as a Subject Matter Expert for the California Board of Psychology.

My passion in life is helping people heal from trauma and depression through warm, authentic, and professional care. Through my clinical training, I discovered that I have a natural talent for working with children and adolescents. I am fascinated by new technologies and like to incorporate them into treatment whenever it can help an individual live a healthier and more fulfilling life.

Sentiero is an outpatient practice comprised of school psychologists, clinical psychologists, and registered psychological associates who conduct psychotherapy and psychological assessments. The approach at Sentiero is not a “one size fits all” model. Angela specializes in substance use, recovery, trauma, parenting and EMDR. Angela utilizes a genuine approach to assist clients in making the desired changes in their lives and help them become their best selves.
