I borrow from Gestalt and psychodynamic theories but not exclusively.
If you are looking for a safe , nurturing , and welcoming setting to work on your self , family and or relationship issues you found it. I help clients with emotional pain or help them heal from family of origin issues . I treat trauma and addictions. I help people understand how and why their life has been unmanageable or how the same patterns of thinking, perceiving and or interacting with others is hurting them and or keeping them stuck. It is not easy to find a therapist or the right one and I do not know if I am however this process is part of that journey. So Lets give a try and reach out for a free consultation.

I am trained in Systems Theories, Gestalt and Ayurveda and I look at the whole environment and how that is creating issues.
Hello! You found this page on your search for answers. This is a journey of self inquiry that leads to self acceptance, but not without its bumps. I can help you learn to listen to your own innate wisdom, slow down time so you can appreciate what is good in your life, and, allow your senses to bring in what makes you stronger. I will be the keeper of your patterns, dreams and fears and help you sidestep what scares you in real time. I am as slow or as fast as the trauma needs. This will be a deep conversation with laughs and tears, and, built-in-healing. Let's do that 15 min free session and see how you feel. Welcome!

Therapy is a precious and unique space, you will virtually sit with me to process and uncover the profound and deeper parts of yourself. My role and objective is to create a warm and inviting place in which you feel safe to show up as you are, to feel all the emotionally charged feelings, and relate to yourself in a way you may have not ever known or seen in yourself – in a more kind, loving, compassionate, and graceful manner.

**VIDEO & IN PERSON SESSIONS AVAILABLE**Tossing and turning, can't sleep, worried all the time and so much change feels uncertain. Though I've never met you, I imagine how uncertain it feels to have so much change happening at once and your relationships under stress. Whether you're in a relationship or just ended one, you probably find yourself overthinking and feeling lonely and disconnected. Sometimes you just need to talk things out in a safe place with zero judgment with a strategy and a direction towards a solution.

Do you find yourself getting irritable “for no reason”? Do you get caught off guard by sudden mood changes? Do you feel like your emotions get the best of you which makes you feel like a horrible person and impacts your relationships? Do you struggle with asserting your needs and setting healthy boundaries? This could be the result of trauma or other impactful past life events. Treatments like EMDR help to process these past experiences so you can heal, feel good about yourself, and re-gain control of your thoughts and feelings. As someone who had to do my own healing, I get how vulnerable and scary therapy can be. I also know

Gestalt Therapists

What is gestalt therapy?

Gestalt therapy is based on the idea that to address unresolved negative feelings, emotions must be not only discussed but also actively expressed in the present moment. The term is from a German word meaning “whole,” and gestalt therapists believe that people should be considered whole entities made up of mind, body, and emotions. Gestalt sessions are rooted in the notion that a client’s total self must be discovered, explored, and confronted, so that they can take greater responsibility for themselves and their behavior, learn to satisfy their own needs while still respecting the needs of others, and reconnect with feelings they might otherwise deny.

How does gestalt therapy work?

Gestalt therapy sessions do not just involve talking with a therapist. Clients may take part in role-playing, re-enactment, or artistic exercises like drawing and painting, with the goal of becoming more aware of negative thought patterns that limit happiness. One common gestalt exercise is “the empty chair,” in which a client sits across from an empty chair representing a partner, relative, boss, or a part of themselves—and, with the therapist’s encouragement, improvises a dialog with it. The intention is to bring the emotions raised by past conflicts into the present and work through them in the moment.

How long does gestalt therapy last?

As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for gestalt therapy; people who believe that they are making progress typically continue until they feel they’ve addressed the issues that had been holding them back. New patients should understand that it may take some time to become comfortable with gestalt exercises but once they do, they should expect sessions to extend for a number of months, typically spanning at least 12 sessions.

Does gestalt therapy work?

Gestalt therapy has generally been found to be as effective as other forms of talk therapy in helping people living with anxiety, depression, phobias, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders, as well as helping individuals reduce conflict in relationships. Gestalt techniques, on their own or in combination with other therapies, can also be effective in managing physical ailments including ulcerative colitis, migraines, and back spasms. It should be noted that some people may have trouble adapting to gestalt therapy’s lack of formal structure or to a therapist’s close observations of their body language and emotions; others may struggle to commit to techniques that feel unnatural, like the empty chair exercise.
