I believe that when individuals are ready to receive help, they will benefit greatly. Those I serve have sought assistance because they seek to move beyond their struggle, not because they had been asked to do so. This is not to say that those who have been encouraged haven't benefited as well. The approaches used allow me to serve those who are experiencing stress, anxiety or trauma. I also assist those who are ready to find their life's purpose but feel that they need the extra support in meeting this goal.

I imagine you're here because you're feeling ready for change. It's reassuring to know it's never too late to ignite curiosity about yourself and learn how to develop secure, healthy connections to others, find relief from anxiety, depression, and stress, and handle emotional challenges more confidently. When you're struggling, it takes courage to let go of what's limiting you to make room for a fulfilling life. I can collaborate with you in the process of identifying, understanding, and reworking ineffective patterns and building new skills and behavior to create the meaningful and satisfying life experiences you desire.

Are you feeling hopeless and stuck? Is trauma impacting you from living a fulfilled life? Are you struggling with your relationships with family and friends? Are you being triggered daily and reliving old trauma? Do you want to thrive instead of struggle? Traumatic experiences can impact every facet of our current lives if it hasn’t been processed. If you have experienced trauma that inhibits you to live in the moment and thrive instead of struggle, maybe it's time to begin therapy. Processing traumatic experiences can improve your perception of yourself and can positively impact your relationships with people in your life.

I’m Dr. Kate Bautch (she/they), a licensed clinical psychologist and trail guide for people whose identities and experiences fall outside of the status quo (queer, neurodiverse, chronically ill/disabled and their families, ethically non-monogamous) and who need support navigating a path that is not the well-traveled trail of societal norms. Here you do not have to worry about educating someone on your experience, and the focus can be entirely on you and the support you need.

Our inner critics can be relentless and cruel. We talk to ourselves in ways we would NEVER consider speaking to a friend. And as if our inner monologues weren't enough, there's the constant bombardment of messaging from all directions telling us what we need to "fix" to be good enough. That noise is enough to make even the most grounded person feel hopeless at times. But these critics are not our true voices. They have been sculpted by abusive and oppressive systems that were built to keep us distracted, submissive, and compliant. It does not have to be this way.

I am humbled as I grow both personally and professionally while learning the depth of the human condition. We are all going through something. I enjoy treating couples and adult individuals that are wanting to deepen their inner awareness and have an expressed desire to connect further within their intimate relationships. The couple relationship, the way in which we emotionally connect, express ourselves, and grow, is one of the hardest but most rewarding things someone can commit to. Being vulnerable enough to allow both yourself and others to love you is hard, but also the birthplace of fulfillment, compassion, and empathy.

I help teens and adults whose emotional pain manifests as deep emotional hurt and sensitivity to specific situations, overwhelm, conflict in close relationships—even violent or suicidal thoughts and behaviors. If you're looking for a safe person who can help you in address the root causes of these experiences, while offering guidance on ways to feel better today, we might be a good fit. For parents interested in therapy for teens, I take a family-centered approach centered on increasing safety, wellness, and connection for the entire family.

I celebrate you in taking your first step, which is a huge strength. I believe that you are the expert of you. My goal is to create a safe space that is non-judgmental, inclusive and empowering where we can work collaboratively to achieve what success means to you. Seeking support during difficult times can be a challenge. It can make us feel like we can’t solve things on our own; or our family or cultural background has taught us that our lives are not meant to be shared. Life is an incredible journey that comes with experiences that shape who we are. Let's navigate the path together and find tools that help you overcome hurdles.

Congratulations on taking this first step towards re-authoring your life. In my practice I avoid labeling as much as possible, as the negative labels we assign ourselves often hold us back. I have a diverse experience and have found that it is important for me to be diverse with my approach. I will meet you where you are and be creative with my interventions. You are unique and so our work together shall be. Come as you are and without judgments we will move you on the path of health and wellness towards your goals.

Good therapy is based more on the unique relationship between clinician and client more than a specific technique or model practiced. Research studies support this statement.
I work with people to help them solve their emotional conflicts, improve their communication and resolve trauma.
I am a compassionate, empathic, caring professional who provides a secure and safe environment for you to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Whether you are in crisis, or want to focus on personal growth, I can help you uncover and discover what is most important to you and improve the quality of your life.

Hello, my name is Nancy Rarick, license number is 35274. I have been a licensed therapist for 30 years. I prefer client-centered therapy but utilize many other modalities which benefit my client the most. Currently, I only have a telemedicine practice which enables me to see clients throughout California. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of my client. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, focused solution therapy, and am trained in EMDR and DBT. Because I am a registered nurse, I am passionate about health and wellness and feel physical well-being is synergistic with good mental health.

I imagine you're here because you feel like something needs to change. It's reassuring to know it's never too late to ignite curiosity about what's happening, develop closer, healthier family connections, and learn to assert yourself more successfully as a parent. It takes courage to let go of what's limiting you to make room for a happier life. I can support you and your child(ren) through this process by identifying, understanding, and reworking ineffective patterns and building new skills to reduce conflict and create a better life for your family.
