One of the things that patients like about psychoanalytic psychotherapy is the safety that we build in the therapeutic relationship.
People who have been in my practice often tell me one of the things they treasure most highly about their therapeutic journey is feeling hopeful again. I welcome adults to my practice who are struggling with a wide range of issues – problems with relationships, work, love, fear, hearing voices, play, sex, confusion, being alone, being with others, paranoia, feeling stuck, despair, worry, troubling thoughts, grief, etc. I am trained and experienced in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychotic breaks, schizoaffective disorder, psychosis, PTSD, OCD and personality disorders.

I often find that therapy is effective in helping individuals and couples navigate past and current challenges.
Hello, If you are looking for in-person (video sessions available) sessions and would like to talk to someone today, please call or send me an email. Typically, I am able to return your call or email within a day. I hear from patients all the time, that the hardest part to finding and connecting with a clinician is getting someone to take your call or call you back. I try to make connecting one of easier parts of therapy. I provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, and adopt an approach that is engaged and collaborative. I look forward to hearing from you.

I support adults in the areas of anxiety, attachment, trauma, identity exploration, self-esteem, and relationship challenges.
Reflection and acknowledgement of our previous relationships are essential in developing new patterns and perspectives for our current and future relationships. A history of experienced distress, trauma, abuse, or betrayal from an intimate partner, friendship, colleague, and/or family member can have a dramatic affect on how we experience and approach new relationships. This may result in frequent conflict, fears of rejection, difficulties with trust, avoidance of vulnerability, and defensiveness. Recovering from a toxic relationship is possible.
