I love the work I do as a psychotherapist. I see myself as a healer and guide. With you as my client, we navigate the challenges and perhaps, traumas of your past. Being guided through the changes you want to make, I offer empathy and compassion, knowing that self-exploration that leads to desired change can be a challenge, and sometimes the challenge becomes too great to want to continue. It is a given that I listen with in the moment “presence”, and I believe that this “presence” is the key to healing and growth. I welcome the opportunity to work with you as your guide and co-healer on your path of growth, healing and change.

As a psychologist and psychoanalyst I believe most of us can benefit from some treatment of psychotherapy/psychoanalysis. Human life can be challenging and our emotions turbulent and elusive. It is costly in every way to embark on a journey to self explore, but most people find the experience rewarding and invaluable.

My name is Hannah Hoffman (she/they) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - I aim to provide a place where you are free to be yourself. My desire is to create an environment where you become more connected to yourself which provides the tools to connect with others. I work side by side with my clients to find practical tools that will help them lead the life they want to live. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, from adolescents to older adults.

I specialize in working with teenagers, young adults, and their families. I am also passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community and am a gender-affirming therapist. I strive to create a warm and safe environment for people to explore self-identity, personal development, relational dynamics, process trauma, and create solutions in order to support people in living the life they want and deserve.

Life transitions can be stressful and challenging, especially with strong emotions and impactful choices to be made. This journey of discovery does not need to be taken alone and can begin with one single step. Within the realm of therapy, you can begin the process of self-discovery, growth, and healing.

Psychoanalytic therapy is a type of therapy that allows one to look at their own painful patterns of living and then change the patterns that they feel stuck in. The individual in a psychoanalytically informed therapy works as a partner with their therapist. Together we pay careful attention to the interactions of personal and interpersonal experience, of past and present, of body and mind, of fantasy and reality. It is expected that this process will bring about great change in the individual's life.
