I provide both short-term, solution-focused therapy and longer-term, process-oriented therapy for both children and adults.
I believe therapy is about connection. Therapy is based on the connection with your therapist to create a meaningful, supportive space to explore your most vulnerable emotions. Therapy can help you strengthen your connection with the people in your life in a positive and hopeful way. And most of all, therapy can grow your connection to your most authentic self. Therapy can help guide and support you through times of stress, build communication and interpersonal skills, and develop a deep understanding of who you are and what you want out of life.

I have practiced psychotherapy for over 20 years working with young adults, adults, families, and couples as well as supervising and training therapists towards their licensure.
There are times in life when we need extra support to navigate challenging situations or overwhelming emotions. If you're feeling disconnected, dissatisfied with your current path, frequently anxious, or experiencing difficulties in your relationships, therapy can provide a valuable space to explore recurring patterns and create meaningful change. My practice focuses on supporting individuals who are dealing with the impacts of trauma, relationship stress, depression, anxiety, and substance use or addiction. Together, we can work on strengthening your sense of self and advancing your healing journey.

Accepting new clients - teens, romantic partnerships, adults, and families. It can feel really good to finally get help, and yet, it can still be hard to accept that you deserve it. Wherever you are in this process, I’ll meet you there. I encourage you to come as you are - bring your anxiety, dark humor, skepticism, anger, hopelessness, and questions; we'll take a closer look together. With a collaborative and authentic approach, I'll both challenge you and honor your pace. I’m not a fixer, but I draw from evidence-based and trauma-informed care to help you help yourself.

I work with adults, couples, and adolescents from varying backgrounds in a collaborative, depth-oriented approach.
Life can feel overwhelming. Perhaps you are seeking help because you are struggling with unhappiness. Perhaps life’s uncertainties and events feel frustrating, isolating, and heavy. Whatever you are facing, therapy can provide a safe and supportive space for understanding. It can help make meaning of your life experiences, provide favorable conditions for growth, and ultimately lead to greater happiness.

You’re smart and successful but you can’t figure this one out. Things look okay on the outside, but on the inside, you feel anxious and confused. You’re already fighting with yourself and the repetitive arguments with your partner or others just add fuel to the fire. The demands of work keep you busy, but you’re unsatisfied and aren’t getting much of what you want. The critical voice in your head telling you that you're not good enough is always present. You’ve tried to change without much success. You’re stuck and don’t know where to start.

Often times life can be difficult, creating coping patterns that work for a while but slowly take away from our wellness. Asking for help can be hard when you feel hopeless to do anything to change. Whether it is feelings of anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, substance use, distorted body image, eating related struggles, life transitions, low self-esteem, ageing related issues or symptoms related to complex trauma, therapy can help gain insight into the experience of being human, identify what isn’t working for you and develop the skills to resolve current life challenges. You don’t have to do it alone.

You are constantly battling with your negative thoughts. The weight of PTSD, severe anxiety, and panic is an immense burden, one that shapes every moment of your day. Each thought that crosses your mind seems to carry a sharp edge, cutting into your peace and leaving you raw and exposed. You’ve spent so much time fighting against your anxiety, trying to suppress it, hide it, or force it away. This internal war has only amplified your suffering, creating a vicious cycle where the harder you push back, the stronger it seems to become. It's exhausting, isn’t it?

What you resist, persists....This is one of life's biggest lessons: learning how to coexist with and manage emotions rather than fight or run away from them. Any attempt at avoiding the less desirable emotions via alcohol, drugs, food, or sex will be met with more problems (addiction). So what if you did the opposite? What if you allowed yourself to feel, to fully sit with the pain and discomfort? What might happen? A new beginning. It would mean moving forward with an understanding that all emotions are fleeting, and that you've finally learned to embrace what is.
