We all have the potential to lead a fulfilling life. Difficult challenges may keep us from reaching that potential though, and we can find ourselves stuck in repetitive cycles of suffering. I offer individual psychotherapy and neurofeedback with a focus on the alleviation of symptoms through inner transformation. With close attention to the unresolved emotional pain and nervous system dysregulation that drive symptoms, I help clients find resilience within the difficulties they face. I draw from time-tested and evidence-based approaches suited to each client's unique needs.

I help couples to change their relationship patterns so that they can feel heard, understood and loved by their partner once again. Couples usually come to me feeling intensely frustrated and stuck in reoccurring issues that, despite their best efforts, they are unable to work out. I help couples get to the heart of what is so difficult and then communicate in new ways that allow connection where there was previously only hurt, anger or distance.

I work with both children and adults and provide each client with the individualized support they need. I have specialized training in OCD and Brainspotting and work with individuals inflicted by anxiety, depression and life transitions. I also offer parenting support and educational consultation around the IEP process.

Healing involves the whole person, not just the problems that person is struggling with. I believe that depression and anxiety are not random occurrences but have meaning. It is our task to discover the message contained within the pain. The sense of separateness that comes from this pain is often a separation from the self. As a trained homeopath, as well as a psychodynamic therapist, I have tools to treat both psychological and physical symptoms. I am faculty emeritus at the Women's Therapy Center and am a supervisor and instructor at The Psychotherapy Institute in Berkeley. I have also taught at Sonoma State University.

SORRY-NOT TAKING NEW CLIENTS. What do you want in your life? What's important to you? What's getting in the way? What steps can you take right now? -- This is my focus in therapy. I take an active, goal-oriented approach to help clarify where you want to go, and move forward. I trust in your inner wisdom and capabilities - yet I also understand how fear and confusion can cloud your view and block your motivation. Together, we can clear the view, and find ways to get beyond what's blocking you.

Hi, my name is Erin and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for working with teens, families and adults. I believe good therapy stems from a therapeutic relationship that fosters warmth, compassion, non- judgement and a sense of safety that allows you to show up as you are knowing that you will be met with acceptance. My therapy work with teens focuses on connecting and identify strengths, while also developing coping skills to better manage mood and improve quality of life. I work with teens and parents helping them better understand one another and giving parents the tools to support their child.

Is your teen anxious, withdrawn, or engaging in behaviors that concern you? Is your child experiencing difficulty in school, with friendships, or managing their emotions? Young people often express their needs and emotions differently than adults, and it can be difficult for parents to understand or know what to do. In my practice, I help young people process what they are experiencing, and help parents understand and feel confident supporting their child's growth and development. In addition, I have extensive experience working with adults struggling with transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression.
