Accepting New Clients. Hello! As someone with lived experience with OCD, I am passionate about helping others through the anxiety and fear that overwhelms and grips us. My OCD developed during my perinatal period, a few short months after I gave birth to my son. For any parent, having those scary and intrusive thoughts can be terrifying.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and bring extensive experience in working with a range of psychological challenges that impact individuals, including trauma, grief, sadness, worry, addiction, anxiety, and depression. My therapeutic approach is rooted in building trust through empathy and fostering a collaborative relationship with each client. Together, we embark on a journey to explore and understand the underlying factors that prompt the decision to seek therapy.

Dr. Ralph Ihle is a Psychologist in the Long Beach, CA area whose practice has spanned more than 30 years. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, CA in 1980 and his doctoral degree from the University of Southern California in 1988. He acquired skills consulting with and training program treatment staff and assessing and treating male and female patients with severe mental disorders and young adults with destructive behavior disorders.

My passion for mental health stems from my recovery story. I fell in love with the people and organizations that helped me. And, when I starting helping others on the path of personal growth, I knew what I was put on this planet to do. So, I got out of the job I hated to pursue a Master's Degree in Social Work at USC. My approach to psychotherapy focuses on learning about the journey my clients have experienced. Followed by a solution-focused orientation that encourages forward progress and goal achievement. I believe that with love, support, and honesty anything is possible.
