Finding a therapist can be a stressful process. The majority of my clients are brand new to therapy and appreciate having someone who can lead them through the process. I tailor my approach to the client, whether it be long-term care or shorter, more solution-focused therapy.

They might feel frustrated when coping skills that work for others don’t seem to work for them. Anxiety could be affecting their sleep, causing restlessness, irritability, or physical symptoms like stomachaches and headaches. They may avoid social situations, struggle with concentration, or have a hard time managing schoolwork and daily responsibilities. Anxiety and fear could be holding them back from trying new things or doing what’s necessary.

Dr. Caroline Lee is a Stanford-educated licensed clinical psychologist. She values integrating evidence-backed practices- including utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness techniques. She believes in catering her therapeutic approach to each individual and building on clients' existing strengths. She has extensive experience working with young children, teenagers, adults, and families for well over two decades. She is a former elementary school teacher and director of post-doctoral clinical training at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Lee does not provide crisis counseling.
