I believe therapy can be a powerful tool to overcome life's obstacles. My clients want to learn how to approach these obstacles and apply their new skills as problems arise; this allows my clients to feel confident in making positive, lasting changes in their lives. I often work with individuals, both adults and adolescents, who want to learn how to be more mindful in their lives and want help "getting out of their heads so to speak." My clients often want to re-establish their inner strength and learn how to better problem-solve in order to improve their lives.

My ideal clients are adult victims of the repercussions of childhood trauma, war veterans, work stress issues, end of life, relational problems. I work especially well with men in retirement and those caught in the fight/ flight/ freeze response that shuts down their limbic system resulting in physical illness, anger/ dispare, dysfunctional memories, insomnia, dissociation and gross negative thinking. I focus particularly on working with men of all ages. Those who get caught in male stereotypes hide their pain and hurt resulting in loneliness, addiction especially men experiencing allenation from families, work in later life.

Emotional detachment leaving you feeling isolated and disconnected when there has been a shift in focus to career, friends, children, hobbies or social activities. Your partner fails to express gratitude or appreciation for the contribution you make to the relationship leaving you agitated and bitter. Sensing a loss of sexual intimacy or struggling with physical affection. Toxic Masculinity or Femininity may have left you defenseless against verbal or physical abuse.

Neurofeedback guides brain functions by measuring brain waves and providing a feedback signal. Electroencephalography (EEG) is recorded during the neurofeedback treatment. Then, its various components are extracted and presented to the patient using a feedback loop in the form of either audio or video feedback.
