I have considerable experience and expertise working with parents, children, adolescents and families in crisis that may have specific issues related to separated/divorced parents, adoptive, foster and blended families. I especially enjoy collaborating with parents to bring out the best in their children and the parent-child relationship. In addition, I provide couples and individual counseling for those dealing with communication difficulties, anger management issues, loss, trauma, abuse, developmental issues and those with chronic psychiatric conditions.

I often conduct Independent Educational Evaluations when parents are looking for a second opinion following a school evaluation. I also conduct diagnostic evaluations for ADHD, Autism and Learning Disorders. I provide IEP coaching and help parents navigate the special education system. Gifted testing is also available. I am passionate about education and I want to work with you and your child to identify their unique strengths and challenges and develop a plan that the school can use to ensure your child's success.

I am a bi-cultural/bi-lingual clinician English-Spanish, passionate about working with adults, children, and teens that may need some support in sorting out life's challenges. I studied locally, going from Palomar College to Cal State San Marcos University, and finally obtaining my Masters in Social at the University of Southern California, School of Social Work. I have worked in non-profit organizations, school settings, local community mental health centers, and the hospital.

I have worked in a wide-variety of settings (community and institutions) and with various populations (e.g. domestic violence victims, forensic populations, and individuals diagnosed with personality disorders, mood disorders, and intellectual disabilities) and offer a plethora of clinical expertise covering the endless variations of the human condition. I conduct both treatment and assessments.
