I am a Mindfulness and Trauma Resilience trainer who believes success and happiness result from a balanced mindset. Being stuck in unhealthy patterns, failing to accomplish the change we desire, or sustaining the nurturing relationships we deserve are all issues we expect to resolve on our own, but when we can't we feel defeated. Therapy is support that helps unearth our own best solutions while increasing skills and practices that grow fulfillment.

I believe our own healing and liberation has the ability to heal our lineage and communities by disrupting cycles of intergenerational trauma.
You have already taken an enormous step towards your healing by beginning to look for a therapist, so first take a moment to express gratitude for yourself. You want to feel at ease, liberated, seen, understood, connected to others, and comfortable taking up space. I can help! As a 2-SQT/LGBTQ+ Affirming, Anti-Racist, Trauma-Informed, Intersectional, and Liberation-Based therapist, I acknowledge that systemic harm, like white supremacy, generational trauma, and the violence and abuse that is perpetuated by trauma and oppression can have deep, lasting scars that that impact our relationships with ourselves and others.

I enjoy working with both couples and individuals who are grappling with a variety of life challenges; life changes, including health issues, career goals, trauma, loss, anxiety or mood disorders.
If we have learned anything from the pandemic, it is that we all need and thrive in relationships. Therapy is an important tool for developing and nurturing positive relationships, both with others and with yourself. Using my training as a marriage and family therapist, my life experiences and love of people, I foster a safe, warm, non-judgmental environment. I believe that it is not the challenges or traumas that form us, but how we respond to them. Collaboratively we can build resiliency as we discover and heal the obstacles that interfere with you having a deeper, more meaningful life.

Being a truly trauma informed therapist that helps people make connections with their thoughts, emotions, & bodies has allowed me to help people make positive changes.
We live in a hectic and chaotic world. Sometimes the tools we have just stop cutting it. Everything is suddenly a struggle. You may have been to a bunch of therapists and it didn't work. You may never have been to therapy and you just want to figure out how to feel better. You’re not alone, you’re not “crazy”. I can help. I'm a non binary, queer, AuDHD clinician who practices from a sex positive, trauma informed perspective and comes with an impressive list of trainings and certifications, but more importantly, I'm a regular human who's here to connect with you on a genuine and authentic level.

His work integrates principles from Gestalt, humanistic, narrative, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed perspectives.
I help creative adults and couples overcome past trauma and foster healthy relationships. As human beings, something unique within us strives for growth, healing, and connection. A strong therapeutic relationship can foster greater compassion, insight, and joy that enhances our quality of life. At times, we may struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, trauma, creative struggles, or a lack of purpose. Psychotherapy can be a safe and brave space to better know ourselves and improve our connection to those we love and the greater world.

My areas of expertise include PTSD + complex trauma, grief, relationships (whether it's the relationship you have with yourself or with the people in your orbit), intimate partner violence and individuals with foster/adoption history.
Do you have a difficult time imagining what safety looks like? Do you feel like there's a disconnect that keeps you from the truest parts of yourself? If you've found your way here, it's likely because you're carrying a burden that's become too heavy to bear alone. Trauma, grief, and attachment wounds are not just about the past - it shows up in your body, in the relationships that you have with yourself and others, and shapes the lens in which you view the world. Here, you'll find a safe space to untangle the complexities of your experiences so that you can focus on rebuilding the sense of control and peace you deserve.

If you’ve ever found yourself in a dark place, then you know that you instinctually look for the light. Things happen in our lives that throw us into dark places. It’s easy to get stuck in these places and we can have trouble finding a way out by ourselves. However, we all have the potential to restore and brighten our light again, sometimes we just need a helping hand. We will be that helping hand. Whether your darkness is anxiety, sadness, trauma, low self-esteem, body image issues, ADHD, or relationship dissatisfaction, we will climb into that dark place with you so that you’re not looking for that light alone.

As a Jungian analyst, I see symptoms as meaningful. For many people, it is a symptom that initially brings them into therapy: anxiety, depression, insomnia, perhaps an addiction. Symptoms are often our body's way of letting us know that life in its current arrangement is not working. For any number of reasons - trauma, loss - one's true nature has been diminished, co-opted, denied. It can give one a sense of feeling unrelated to one's life.

I draw from theories including EMDR, CBT, ACT, psychodynamic, EFT and Gottman (for couples) to heal issues stemming from depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, relational conflicts, stress, and existential unease.
You are fed up with repeating patterns that feel self-destructive. You are tired of being so reactive to the same triggers. You are ready for change, for relationships that fill your cup, and for a life that is purposeful and passionate. And you are probably totally overwhelmed right now. I get it. Wading through pages of therapist bios when you're already stressed, sad, and/or confused can be kind of the worst thing ever. But I'm here to help! I support clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, relationship issues, low self-esteem, stress and lack of clarity that big life transitions can kick up.

I have had the privilege to work with individuals with generational trauma, grief, ADHD, and relational/familial issues.
When we are exposed to trauma at an early age, it can seriously impact how we feel about ourselves and our relationships with others. Trauma can also profoundly affect whether we feel this is a safe world and can contribute to depression, anxiety, and relational/familial issues. My practice is from a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective with a non-judgmental framework. I aim to understand clients’ internal responses and to provide more options for emotional regulation and problem-solving.

If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, or substance abuse, and what I have described here connects and resonates with you, we just might be the right fit to form such a relationship.
As trite as it may sound, life is complex. It is in our nature to work unconsciously to avoid re-experiencing our most distressing past experiences, and the painful feelings resulting from them. Unfortunately, as our psyche tries to protect us, we unwittingly develop patterns of thinking, feeling, behaving, and relating to others that become painful road-blocks towards personal growth, and undermine our sense of well-being. Thankfully, the process of psychotherapy can work to unknot these patterns, create emotional healing, and empower us to forge new paths-ways leading towards lives of fulfillment and ongoing personal growth.
