Clients who see me are often painfully impacted by ADHD, neurodivergence, anxiety, executive functioning difficulties, procrastination, creative blocks, imposter syndrome; C-PTSD, narcissistic & emotional abuse, codependency, people-pleasing, relationship issues, family conflict, estrangement; and OCD (including Pure-O & R-OCD). While I enjoy working with clients from all fields, I specialize in treating creative professionals & artists. As a creative, you may be building your career or considering a total pivot. Regardless of where you are now, the unknowns of where you'll end up can be anxiety-provoking. Maybe now more than ever.

My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, loss, codependency, addiction and sobriety.
Psychotherapy is an opportunity to feel better and to grow as a person. Therapy can alleviate symptoms like anxiety or depression, provide insight into what makes you happy, and help you develop your most genuine and creative self. Symptom relief and self development are achieved by providing you with a safe and empathetic environment, by exploring the role of unconscious forces in your decision making, and by linking your present relationships to past ones, particularly those of your family of origin. I do this while respecting your autonomy and your right to make your own decisions.

I have specialized training in trauma and attachment-based approaches, and am passionate about myriad issues including sexual trauma, codependency, grief, and social anxiety.
When it comes to relationships, we can find ourselves stuck on “rinse-and-repeat” (or occasionally, just “spin.”) However, through insight and a smattering of behavioral interventions, we can learn to separate that which is ours and that which we have been holding onto for someone else, allowing us to reimagine ourselves and our relationships. I work with adults, teens, couples, and families, and specialize in working with folks who struggle with anxiety and relational trauma.

My specialties include: addictions, substance use disorders, eating disorders, relational conflict, codependency, ADHD, anxiety and stress, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, identity and personality development - if you are looking for a therapist who is relatable, direct, open, honest, and compassionate, you’re in the right place.
I place great value on equipping you with the social and psychological resources and skills necessary to thrive. It's difficult to focus on the deeper aspects of our mental health when this is left unaddressed. As a depth-oriented therapist, I also work with you to uncover your shadow—those hidden aspects of your personality that influence your life patterns. Identifying these unconscious patterns, understanding how they've been built, and why they continue to persist gives you the power of choice in how you'd like to show up to life moving forward.

Often my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, codependency, trauma, or addiction.
Years ago, on my 30th birthday, I walked home from the party alone. I had a great night with friends, flirted with a girl at the bar, but I had a gnawing sensation that there was something better out there. I had a vague feeling that what I needed was a loving partnership, and it was up to me to prioritize finding it. Eventually I found my way to therapy, and with a nurturing but challenging therapist, I began to realize how I had defended myself from the intimacy I wanted. It was a humbling, scary and deeply rewarding journey.

I have a great deal of experience working with couples on a variety of topics: codependency, infidelity, communication and blended family issues amongst other concerns.
I take a personal, relatable approach to working with all of my clients. I sincerely care about helping my clients gain clarity and insight while progressing towards developing the skills necessary to independently problem solve in the future. I do feel that we sometimes need to look backwards and work through past issues in order to lay a better foundation for the present. I will always seek to speak the truth with grace, even though it may be difficult to hear, in order to ensure that my clients have the information they need to make the best decisions for their situation.

Areas of work include: trauma, coming out, gender identity, HIV/AIDS, sexual compulsivity, alcoholism/addiction recovery, codependency, and intersections of cultural/racial/ethnic identity.
I believe therapy is meant to be experimental, experiential, and collaborative. Carl Jung said, "The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed." Insights in therapy have the potential to be challenging and painful, and my job is to help you through them. A spirit of non-judgment, empathy, directness, and sense of humor defines my style. My goal is to assist clients in connecting to their authentic Selves, for the purpose of overcoming negative thinking, self-destructive patterns, and unfulfilling relationships.

I work with the following problems: anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, fears, traumas, relationship issues, self-doubt, social anxiety, dependency on people's opinions and judgments, lack of identity and purpose, anger, guilt, codependency, lack of future goals and motivation, negative thoughts and attitudes, stress, procrastination, and many more.
I practice a unique combination of counseling and hypnotherapy. My therapy is based on the notion that every person has the potential to be complete, happy and fulfilled. My goal is to help my clients realize this potential. In our therapy work we explore emotional, mental and personal levels: Emotional (reprocessing fears, traumas; old patterns); Mental (learning new behaviors, emotional skills); Personal (setting goals/purpose; building confidence, trust). My clients have an active role in their healing process. During the sessions I introduce new tools and strategies. In between the sessions clients apply and practice them.

My specialties include substance abuse (dual diagnosis), trauma/PTSD, codependency, dysfunctional family dynamics, anxiety, and depression.
Are you struggling with how crazy the world has become? Do you feel lost, scared or confused? Are you looking for answers during a time when no one seems to have them? I might be able to help you. Before I was a therapist I was a client myself, struggling with addiction, PTSD and other issues as well. My journey of healing led me to becoming a therapist to help others heal. My clients find me to be compassionate, non-judgmental and informative. I tend to work intuitively, while using my training and experience as a guide. I am focused on helping my clients navigate their own healing journey as quickly and as painlessly as possible.

I focus on a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, obsessive thinking, compulsive behavior, addiction, codependency, parental challenges, boundary making, and relationship issues.
The key to emotional and psychological wellness lies in the balance of action and acceptance. The role of the therapist is to provide the client with enough unconditional support and practical strategies to attain this balance and achieve their goals. Because each client is different, I employ an integrated approach. I draw from person centered therapy, attachment/psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.

We can identify coping skills that can assist in codependency, relationship anxiety, and avoidance of intimacy.
Do you struggle with depression, anxiety, and trauma? Do you experience difficulties managing family and relationship issues? I believe that healing happens when we pay attention to all the parts that make us whole—our mind, body, and soul. The subconscious mind controls most of our reality and choices, so building awareness and active presence can improve the quality of daily living and assist in not only surviving, but thriving through life. As an intuitive & holistic therapist, I will assist you in strengthening your inner psyche and developing new tools to manage negative feelings and thoughts.
