I have experience working with adults across a range of concerns: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, self-esteem, family conflict, parenting challenges, issues of identity, grief and loss.
If you're in a difficult life transition, experiencing relationship problems or feeling uncertain and overwhelmed, you don't have to go through it alone. Finding a therapist that feels like a good fit is an important first step. I work with young adults and adults in exploring their experiences, identifying longstanding patterns, clarifying goals and encouraging positive changes.

My hopes for you are to deepen the quality of your life and your relationship with others.
Therapy is a deeply personal, multifaceted journey inward in an already complex world. To those who choose to venture down this road, the process can leave one feeling emotional and vulnerable, but it will also be healing, enlightening and enriching. Taking steps down this path is a virtuous act and I am here to honor you and your process. Together we will gently explore what may be causing you pain. Healing is at the heart of my practice - what you will experience with me is empathy, non-judgmental compassion, and authenticity. My therapeutic style is warm, energetic and engaged.

All of our issues, at their core, involve fear, sadness or shame - whether we are dealing with individual struggles or relationship problems. Looking at both the past and present sheds light on the patterns of thinking and feeling you have created out of habit. We can also discover a greater awareness of what's going on within you, 'here-and-now.' Together, we will find new ways for you to find balance on a day-to-day basis.

I specialize in helping adults with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stressful life changes.
Life presents us with many difficulties. When things are unsatisfying or overwhelming, our mind naturally responds with emotional distress that might manifest as anxiety, anger, sadness, helplessness or shame. We often find it hard to navigate these feelings because dealing with the sources can be very intense and complicated, especially when we lack support. I'm here to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore and express yourself freely. Together, we can navigate your difficult experiences, process any unresolved issues, and work toward a better relationship with yourself.

My specialties include working with adolescents, young adults, couples, families, and individuals experiencing relationship issues or going through a major life transition.
So much of our happiness boils down to the relationships in our lives; it brings us our greatest joys or our most painful sorrows. Life transitions, both developmental (adolescence, young adults, mid-life) and experiential (cohabitating, marriage, parenting, divorce) can cause unexpected emotional and relational challenges and getting support through these transitions can be hugely beneficial. We all suffer from moments of shame, sadness, loss, confusion, anxiety, insecurity, and fear as we try to move through these developmental stages and life transitions, but you don't have to do it alone.

Working on a relationship takes patience and hard work, but when making a conscious decision to commit to relationship, it's possible to achieve connection, healing, and a strengthening of your bond.
I Specialize in Couples Therapy, so if you're feeling like you’re struggling in your relationship and it’s time to make some changes, you’ve come to the right place. I’ll help you to communicate issues you repeatedly argue about and never get resolved, issues you’ve avoided or have been afraid to discuss, or anything that is important to you. We'll talk about how the stress of these issues and problems have affected both of you individually and as a couple and we'll develop new and more effective ways to reduce conflict and increase empathy, acceptance, respect, and connection.

You never know when anxiety will consume you. One moment everything is fine, and out of nowhere anxiety hits you. Overwhelming thoughts flood over you after an argument with your partner. You tell yourself over and over your boss is making work unbearable, and your partner is unsupportive. Time between peace and stress is getting shorter, and you wonder if there’s any way to break free from negative thoughts. It’s affecting every aspect of your life. Work is unfulfilling, your relationship is suffering, and your anxiety is high. Has stress and anxiety become your norm? Do you just keep going hoping for a solution?

I hold the fundamental belief that a compassionate, reflective and authentically direct therapeutic relationship can help you explore and express the parts of yourself necessary to grow and heal. This can be true for particularly trying periods of life, for emotional health maintenance, or for persistent challenges. I work from a psychodynamic, attachment-focused lens, and utilize a holistic but grounded approach to clarify and address the key memories, limiting beliefs, thoughts and feelings that are at the root cause of distress or discomfort.

Are you looking for a safe space to share your feelings; to better understand your emotional self? If you are experiencing relationship problems, feel stuck or blocked, anxious or depressed, we can work together to understand these issues. Sometimes we know that things don't feel right, but can't put our finger on it. Through guided exploration, we can discover underlying causes for these feelings, and develop a more authentic connection with ourselves and with others. I work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents.

I place an exceptionally high value on the delicacy of the therapeutic process and the importance of the client/therapist relationship, particularly among culturally diverse clients.
All roads lead to Rome! It doesn't matter where we jump in, if you’re ready, we’ll get there. My approach is based on Attachment Theory & CPTSD: the idea that much of our conflict & distress stems from old wounds & unmet needs. De-coding this blueprint provides a path toward healing & fulfillment. Relational issues, estrangement, Teen/YA issues & living life “on purpose” are all areas I am passionate about. I incorporate trauma-informed, therapeutic modalities such as IFS with a Buddhist Psychology perspective. I am a rabid ally and advocate for equality and trained in psychedelic-assisted therapy (currently Ketamine only).

And ultimately to heal their relationship with themselves.
I believe that well-being is a right not a privilege and that everyone is hungry for meaning, purpose and connection. The absence of these things can lead to disorder and dysfunction. The greatest gift of being a therapist is helping people of all ages let go of unhealthy coping skills and cultivate an authentic, full life. In my practice, I focus on the specific needs and goals of the individual, couple or family. Through story, intervention, tools, and feedback I help my clients address the issues that are preventing them from moving forward in their lives and ultimately to reclaim their true selves.

Additionally, I am passionate about working with couples to assess compatibility in the early days of a relationship or refresh/repair challenges over time.
In my high school psychology class, I learned there is an entire language that describes my experience-the sometimes conflicting experiences of living between two different worlds. I became passionate about finding ways to address the experience of people whose hurts are often invisible. I was saddened by my observation that too many people feel stigmatized and alone with their inner turmoil and wanted to find a way to make the heart, mind and body whole. My dream is that therapy becomes accessible to everyone and viewed merely as another source of support.
