I have helped my clients with issues such as: anxiety, depression, grief & loss, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, and addiction/recovery.
Over the years, I have found that people have an innate sense of resiliency that they can tap into, but need guidance to find it. During the therapeutic process, I strive to nurture this sense as my clients grow, heal, cultivate creativity and thrive in life’s many journeys. We all need to feel connected and heard, and we each deserve a therapist that is truly interested in us and has our best interests at heart. I truly believe this is an essential component of therapy. It takes courage to ask for help and I applaud you for taking the first step.

Most people seek therapy because something is out of balance in their lives. Maybe you have an idea of what that is, a relationship problem, work &/or financial stress, depression or anxiety. As many of my client’s, have said, opening up wasn’t easy but the result was well worth it. From many years of experience, I know relationships can be challenging. Do you wonder why yours is not working & want the relationship to be fulfilling again ? I create a safe & trusting environment to open the lines of communication which fosters a deeper understanding of ourselves & others.

Together, let's collaborate to achieve the goals and navigate relationship challenges and personal growth to achieve the transformative goals that will nurture a future filled with joy and satisfaction.
Your life was intended to be lived with bold laughter, lasting and accepting love, and intentional significance. This is often hard to attain through our efforts alone. We may drift off course or abandon it altogether when we don’t have the resources to maintain our own goals. The first step to change your direction is usually the most difficult, but most important. I’m here to help you with your first steps and help you get to where you want to be in your relationships or your life in general.

Life can feel impossible to avoid struggling and we often don't feel we have the skills to cope successfully through. Unfortunately, sometimes we don't have all the resources we need for a given situation. Parts of us take on desperate roles trying to help us to survive. This might look like anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, and relationship/family issues. I aim to help you process unresolved issues and feelings and find solutions.

I aim to assist couples in identifying their underlying issues, practicing healthy communication, and setting appropriate expectations within the relationship.
Mental health challenges are due to the aftereffects of traumatic experiences. Trauma can place a strain on your family, work, relationships, and even cause issues with self-worth. I specialize in trauma therapy along with treating personality disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and addiction. All these disorders can look different from person to person, and that is where our therapeutic journey of empowerment and self-exploration begins. I concentrate on creating a safe space of growth and self-discovery through unconditional positive regard, emotional regulation, and guided activities.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
