The purpose of life is to discover our own inherent nobility and to help others discover theirs. - Abdu'lBahá. My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own experience of managing mental health from a young age. This personal journey highlighted the profound power of therapy and inspired me to help others achieve similar transformations. I take pride in guiding individuals through their challenges and witnessing their remarkable growth. For me, therapy is not just a profession but a passion. Seeing the positive impact I can make on individuals' lives is deeply rewarding and reaffirms my dedication and skills in this field.

I practice each intervention through distinctive situations my clients may experience when living with trauma and mental health which can develop symptoms of depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and co-occurring addictive disorders.
Childhood trauma can cripple us, it creates overpowering ‘intense’ emotions such as anxiety, depression, and anger when left unattended which begins to create physical symptoms to defend our bodies from the internal wounds. Has there ever been a time in your life where you have experienced this reaction? Are you experiencing these feelings based on current or past trauma from childhood, early teens, adolescence, adulthood, or as a senior? I aim to utilize a variety of actionable techniques to help reduce trauma related symptoms and make lasting changes in life.

I also treat binge eating disorder, depression, anxiety, OCD, ASD, mood disorders, and many others.
I strive to provide an inclusive feeling in my practice where everyone’s uniqueness is embraced, explored, and celebrated. I utilize a variety of modalities including Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, and Mindfulness. After practicing for more than 20 years what I have learned is that therapy is not one size fits all, success and progress look different for each person, everybody is doing their best always no matter what, and in the end the best predictor of treatment success is the relationship we create in our work together. If we can build a trusting relationship then the journey will be successful.
