Douglas Glen hails from Europe and moved to California in 1993. He gained his Master's in Counselling Psychology in Los Angeles in 2003 whilst working as a Technology Executive for a number of prominent media corporations in Europe and the US, including the BBC, Disney, and ABC. His varied professional life facilitated periods of living in Berlin Germany, London, Santa Barbara, and Boston. Douglas prefers an integrative, person-centered approach and draws upon a number of modalities depending on a client's needs including CBT, Narrative, Existential, Psychodynamic, and Family Systems.

I invite people to be curious about their brains, to understand why they do, how they think! Addicted? Anxious? Angry? A relationship in trouble? All are about the brain. Learning about the amygdala and how it is connected to the rest of the brain, the alert it keeps us at, has everything to do with learning about doing life differently from here forward. Learning how visceral tension response on the body is a clue to what is going on in the mind, gives a sense of control in any situation, giving the balance between frontal lobe executive thinking and limbic system emotional reactivity.
