As a Licensed Educational Psychologist, I'm able to work with children, teenagers, and adults in different capacities. My focus is conducting psychological-educational evaluations and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) to provide parents, teachers, administrators, tutors, and students with an in-depth insight into the student's strengths and weaknesses in the areas of intelligence, processing, academics, and social-emotional/behavioral skills.

Carmen was born in Chile. She has more than 20 years experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist, and as researcher in Brain Imaging. She earned a M.A. in Clinical Psychology, a MFT and a PsyD. Carmen has been working with Victims of Crime, as well as children and families with depression, trauma, ADD, mood disorders and anxiety for several years. Each day we face new challenges. At Jo NeuroAssessment Center, we work with children and adults with a variety of neurological and psychiatric conditions. These include AD/HD, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, memory disorders, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations which involve in-depth assessment of various cognitive skills such as attention, processing speed, memory, problem solving, language, and visual-spatial functioning, among others. Co-morbid psychiatric conditions such as depression and anxiety may also be a focus of a neuropsychological evaluation.
