I commonly use interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance-based commitment therapy, and internal family systems.
I have specific experience working with individuals with severe food allergies, asthma, autoimmune disorders, and chronic pain. As a therapist with personal experience living with food allergies and chronic disease, I love working with individuals who are navigating these complex challenges. I also enjoy working with tweens, teens, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, life transitions, depression, fear of abandonment, and past traumas. I work through an intersectional lens, considering each client’s overlapping facets of identity better to understand their role in their experience.

As a therapist I use my experience and in-depth training in Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients clarify what needs to change in their lives and how to get to where they want to be.
Are you feeling unsure about what you want for yourself? Has your stress and anxiety become so intolerable that it prevents you from enjoying the present and moving towards your desired future? Are you having trouble even knowing what your goals are? Are feelings of self-loathing and low self-esteem keeping you stuck? Many of us hit points where we confront roadblocks and feelings that seem too difficult to overcome, which can create hopelessness and overwhelm about how to move forward. But, with the right help and tools, creating change is possible!

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) & value authenticity, joy, laughter, & play as core elements of my therapeutic practice.
You are here for that sense of belonging & connection, especially when multiple global crises have left communities hopeless, and in a constant state of vigilance. While some anxiety/depression is a normal response to the hyper-violence we are facing as a collective (on screens or in reality), it can feel extremely overwhelming to experience this every day, on top of expectations from work, family, and other relationships. As a child of the Lao Isaan/Southeast Asian diaspora, my passion is working with fellow children of refugee/immigrant diasporas to feel seen + heard + validated through an anti-oppressive framework.

I pull from DBT, CBT, Gottman and narrative therapy when direct, tangible skills are needed.
If you're feeling stuck, anxious about your future, and finding it difficult to move forward in your life than I would love to chat with you. I offer a nonjudgmental space where you can be both supported and encouraged to lean into the discomfort. I provide space to process feelings and also provide tangible skills so therapy is a daily practice. I work with teens (12+), young adults navigating the complexity of launching their lives, couples and adults experiencing burn out, anxiety, and difficulty seeing their own self worth. I believe each person has their own inner wisdom and I want to help you access it.

I am a millennial therapist and life coach dedicated to empowering women to find their path, embrace their uniqueness, and live life on their terms. I specialize in helping individuals facing life-altering shifts such as divorce, breakups, career changes, and parenthood. As a First-Gen Latina, I understand the pressure many of us face to meet certain cultural and societal timelines. We get trapped in a vicious cycle of anxious, negative thought patterns, debilitating stress and worry, and unnecessary pressure to meet others’ expectations or follow a path that is not our own.

So you want to go to therapy because you keep hearing from everyone and their dog that it really works and can make you "feel better" or "unstuck". Problem is, you have very little idea what therapy actually is and are hesitant about talking to a stranger and telling them things about yourself that you think are (for lack of a better word) fucked up. Well, you're not alone in that thought. In fact, I'd say a majority of people are in that boat as the most frequent question I get asked is: "am I weird because I do so and so?" and "is it normal that I do such and such?". Most of us think we're weirdos and everyone else is normal.
