My mission in life and my personal passion as a Psychologist is to be of service to those navigating life’s most complex and difficult challenges in their day to day lives. That is why I am so excited about your decision to begin therapy. Sharing your life experiences is not made lightly and that is why I am always humbled to be apart of each new journey. We will work collaboratively throughout the process in navigating through the anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and other challenges keeping you from enjoying the life you envision.

The truth about mental health is that being mentally healthy is not simply being happy all the time and perfect relationships are not born they are built. It is a fact that life is full of twists and turns with amazing highs and heartbreaking lows, not just for the individual but for couples and families as well. True mental health is the ability to navigate through these points while embracing the full range of your emotions and honoring them and every part of yourself! This is the stuff that mentally healthy and strong people and relationships are made of and this is where my passion lies!

Seeing your child struggle in school can be challenging and it might feel overwhelming on where to start and where to get help. I work with families to answer questions about student challenges and identify learning strengths and areas of need. I provide psycho-educational testing to examine suspected learning disabilities, attention difficulties, social communication and interaction, depression, and anxiety. If your child is struggling in school, I would love to help figure out why and provide recommendations to help them thrive.

Maybe you’ve been in therapy in the past, but the changes you were looking for never really happened. You've been keeping it together, but you're asking yourself, is that enough? You haven’t been able to think your way out of your past traumatic experiences and now life seems to be adding new problems to the old ones. When are things going to change? I work with people experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, grief and loss, peri menopause/menopause, aging and other life transitions. I specialize in somatic therapy, a trauma therapy focusing on body sensations to heal psychological wounds.
