I support individuals shift from disconnection to connection. My approach is a blend of Spiritual Psychology, Imago, Gottman, Brainspotting, and Somatic Therapy. My goal is to turn negativity and conflict into opportunities for growth and healing. I assist couples in understanding their early childhood attachment and how it currently affects them, communicating with compassion, reacting to conflict with curiosity rather than judgment, and learning to rekindle the passion. I work with individuals who are feeling anxious, depressed, and disconnected from themselves.

I have years of experience working with at-risk youth, homeless adults with a chronic & persistent mental illness, and in the education system with students of all ages. I am passionate about working with preteens, adolescents, young adults, and individuals. I provide a safe & empathetic space, working with individuals who struggle with symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, identity issues, feelings of hopelessness, stress, low self worth, adjustment to life changes, school related challenges, and relationship conflict. I also have first hand experience with those involved in missions work, those that have been adopted, and those who have lost a parent to a fatal disease.

We all have unique stories that have shaped us. I believe healing is most transformative when we begin to understand the intersections that make us whole: the parts of ourselves that we value and celebrate as well as the parts that we criticize, deny or dislike. I want to know how you feel about your story and how it has impacted your sense of wholeness. My goal is to help you build a better understanding of the pain, distress or fear that holds you back from achieving the life you want so you can begin to make room for more joy and a meaningful existence.

Hello, my name is Allison. As a therapist, I’m passionate about helping people in unfulfilling relationships learn how to build stronger intimate connections. Many of the individuals and couples I work with come to me because they are feeling emotionally and physically out of touch with their partners. My practice focuses on helping those partners communicate effectively and feel more seen, heard, and understood in the relationship. I work from a relational-cultural perspective, aiming to understand each person within the larger systems they exist in, and helping to bridge the gap in communication by getting to the root of conflict.
