Our focus is to provide client-centered care, to fill in the missing link from treatment to real life and we are court-approved parenting and anger-management facilitators.
I would summarize my professional perception as always seeing the good, seeking to understand, and have an ability to guide clients to reframe their thinking and perceptions to better themselves rather than defeat themselves.

To find self, a good way to start is with a life review, digging up hurtful places to see if there are a few unresolved issues that prevent growth.
My name is Carol Fox, LMFT and I have been in practice for many years, witnessing the changes in the need and acceptance of therapy as a tool to becoming a better person. Finding self has many paths, so many therapies have been created, but the focus is always the same: finding the self in the lives we live each and every day. My approach to therapy is to find the right path back to the self. Life presents many challenges, whether they be trauma or change of circumstances. These challenges are on a spectrum in everyone's life. People who are willing to work on themselves are most receptive to therapy, or the art of exploring.

I am accepting and respectful of the client's individual beliefs and lifestyle.
I most enjoy working with clients who are willing to look within and accept responsibility (not blame) for their thoughts, feelings and behavior. I feel especially honored to work with clients who have had traumatic childhood experiences, including sexual abuse. Although these events can have devastating consequences, I have found that survivors of childhood trauma can also be catapulted to higher than usual levels of consciousness and well-being when the traumas are healed. In other words, therapy is a very gratifying journey to walk with a client. I work well with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, eating disorders and dissociative disorders.

I aim to provide a warm, non-judgmental, & safe space where you can freely and openly share at your own pace while feeling empowered to process & create the change you want to see in your life.
ATTN neurodivergents: let me be your new bestie! Life is hard & it can often feel overwhelming to know where to start in finding the right support. Look at you taking the first step! Not all therapy experiences are positive & it's important to me that each of my clients feel safe enough to do the hard work of healing. The personal work I've done in therapy has provided me with an acute understanding of the challenges & importance of finding the right therapist, especially for neurodiverse needs. My goal is to help you feel seen & heard right where you are at and supportively come alongside you in where you are trying to go.

We can explore and process deeply while "going down the rabbit hole" of life and coming out whole and integrated to create the life you want to live.
Many of us come to therapy because we are experiencing symptoms, feelings or circumstances that we want to change. Only to discover that there might be deeper things that we desire, that the symptoms are only the surface. We discover that we want to find our purpose or calling, that we want freedom from expectations, freedom from fears. We are seeking meaningful and honest relationships. We wish to communicate efficiently. We crave inspiration, imagination, creativity, and clarity. We long to move forward, wherever that place is. We want to expand and feel the infinity that we are and explore all possibilities in our lives.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
