Individual Somatic Psychotherapy: While I incorporate a variety of modalities into my work as a somatic psychotherapist, I tend to focus on present-moment states of being. This means that I pay close attention to what’s happening in the room, in your body, and between you and me, during our sessions. You may be curious and yet hesitant; hopeful and yet afraid. I help you embody the resilience you need to become the person you’ve always wanted to be.
Parenting/Family Therapy: I am certified in a model of therapy for kids with clinical behavior disorders known as PCIT. Then I became a parent and I realized every parent needs help parenting. Today my parenting work involves taking everything I know about parent-child relationships and translating those often complex ideas into effective parenting tools.
Reproductive Counseling: Today, there are many ways to build a family. My clients tell me the process of becoming a parent - whether naturally or medically assisted, alone or with a partner - often brings up new and challenging feelings. I help individuals and couples with the emotional aspects of infertility, pregnancy, miscarriage, and postpartum.
