This quote had become my life motto, as it is so true, the way you have been made to feel by another is what can make or break any person. Adults who have experienced trauma, substance abuse, mental heath, emotional exhaustion, and life’s various curveballs deserve to be heard and treated in an environment that is understanding, empathetic, safe, stable, supportive, and non judgmental to begin their journey to heal.
My practice is to incorporate trauma-informed care and cognitive behavioral techniques into my therapeutic approach. Overall, my approach is wholistic, open, and fluid, with the goal of finding what works for each individual and to utilize that to build a strong therapeutic alliance.
I have 8 years of therapy experience working with those who have experienced trauma, mental health disorders, and/or addiction, I am EMDR trained. Seeing each individual I work with find their voices, and themselves, again and walking away stronger, happier, and more confident, drives my passion for practice.
