I specialize in treatment with the LGTBQIA+ population, trauma, anxiety, depression, sports/performance anxiety, and chronic illness. I like to use an empathetic, anti-oppressive, client-centered approach to support clients toward their own identified goals. As a member of the queer community, my goal is to create a safe and affirming space for people of all sexualities, relationship types, and gender identities. I am also a former collegiate athlete, and my experience with this has allowed me to provide support to student athletes.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic therapy. I incorporate mindfulness-based interventions, DBT skills, self-care, and yoga into my practice.
