In my early twenties, I worked as a volunteer counselor in a Free Clinic. There I learned that when someone has suffered emotional trauma they need gentleness and kindness before anything else. From those experiences and more I decided that my professional mission is to act as a change agent and a peacemaker. To accomplish this I have extensive training in treating anxiety, trauma, depression, post traumatic stress, and addictions. I also taught at the college level. For more than 25 years I have studied and taken specialized training in the intersection of psychology, spirituality and holistic approaches to mental health.
As a psychotherapist in clinical practice since 1982, I have worked with children, adults, couples and families. I have particular success with anxiety including panic attacks. and insomnia. I can also provide audio programs so you can reinforce your successes.
In addition to my role as a psychotherapist, I serve children and adults experiencing separation and divorce in my roles as a Co-parenting and Child Specialist, as a Collaborative Divorce Coach in Collaborative Divorce and Team Divorce Mediation processes, and as a Reunification Therapist.
